Profile

Luciano Ciamarone (Ortona, 1985), researcher, guitarist and composer. He worked as a musical researcher for the CRM (Center of Musical Research in Rome) and Benti (Switzerland). As an engineer he worked in aerospace field and he is now involved in the ITER international nuclear fusion research project.

He studied physics, mechanics, electronic, music composition and guitar.

For his graduation thesis, in 2013, he developed the feed-guitar an augmented musical instrument.

In the CRM he composed Olofonica (for 16 sound diffusion devices known as "olophones", designed by Michelangelo Lupone).

His interests include signal processing, physical modeling, spatialization, instruments augmentation and interactive art.
